Twisted Reality
Don't read anything into the title of this post, it's just the song that's playing right now, as my brain couldn't come up with a title.
So, the wireless connection that I had been using at home has gone missing. As such, I am back at work after hours to play on the internets. I'm told that AT&T might be able to find where I live now, so I'll call them Monday to see about running an internet cable my way.
In other news, I made 90% of my hair disappear. It had been getting longer, as I was trying to grow it out a bit. But my hair is unruly and uncooperative, so it just looked messy all the time, no matter what I did with it. I thought about getting a proper hair cut, but I looked in the mirror after work and had had enough. So I fired up the adjustable blade Conair clippers and went to town. Longest setting (1/4"?) on top, shortest setting (really frickin short) for the sides and back. If I don't like it, it'll grow back out.
Also in other news, when did I move to Seattle? The weather in my part of Michigan has been rainy long enough to make me wonder.
I'm kind of bummed I didn't go to the Stryper concert when they were in Mt. Pleasant, but I didn't trust my car for the 3+ hour drive to the other side of the state, and then back. Which is the same reason I wont be going to Chillifest on Belle Isle next weekend (sad face, I was looking forward to that), or probably to the LAN on the 31st. The car could very well make it to all those, but I'm not chancing at least 1 dying wheel bearing on that.
Speaking of car stuff, it seems I might want to get my snow tires mounted to the other set of rims real soon...
