Life is a Highway...

Which seems to be were I live. Unfortunately.
Well, Friday the 13th came and went with no bad luck on my part, that I know of. Actually had a bit of good luck. My company rented a car for me so I could pick up people from the airport. Of course, it was the cheapest possible car class, the Sub-Compact, which pretty much meant a Kia Rio. I asked if they had anything different in that class, and they said they could give me a Mitsubishi Eclipse for the same price, I said "Make it so!" Hehe. So I have a new Eclipse GT V6. It's niiiice :) Its also a good thing I am picking up 1 person a time at the airport.

Since I came back to work, we had the 1 show at the Capitol building, and we had to set up for that at 130am. Fun. For now I am back at the shop. I think we leave for Scott AFB on the 25th. From there? Who knows. Boeing wants to do Dallas, Detroit (almost home), Huntington Beach, Jersey, the Pentagon (again), St Louis, and a bunch of other places. We'll see.

Tracy, miss you like crazy, and Love you just as much.

Not much to write...

The 6 AM flight I was supposed to have last Saturday turned into a 920AM flight on Sunday. For some reason, Northwest canceled my Saturday flights. Still had to take my co-worker Tim to the airport at 430AM though. Which is ok, I got to sleep in when I got back to the hotel.

Anyhow,
I have been enjoying my time at home with my wife and kids. I always love to see them, I just wish it was for longer. Like, maybe, every night after work. I was hoping during this home trip my wife and I could have sneaked off...to watch the new Transformers movie. We will, at some point, make no mistake, we will see it. And hopefully Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, but that as well will have to be another visit home, as it wont be out by the time I have to go back. I wish I didn't have to go back... :(

I know most people would love to travel for a living, but I am not most people. If I was traveling for fun and still getting paid, that might be a little better, but still away from the family, which is a big downside for me.

I know I have written most of this stuff before, possibly several times before, but it's what I am feeling, so it's what I write.
