An update? Yes, it seems I have let nearly all of January slip with no updating. I had wanted to before I headed back to North Carolina, but I didn't. I had wanted to while I was in Daytona, but I didn't. And now, I have been back from Daytona for a week, and the month is almost past. What have I been up to?

I got to stay home until the 8th, then it was back here (NC). I was very glad to stay home for nearly 3 weeks, it was very nice. Wish I could spend more time with my wife and the kids, alas, I am on the road too much. I need to remedy this...
On the 14th, we headed down to Daytona, FL to set up for a show at the Daytona International Speedway (!) on the 16th. Daytona was nice, 60's and 70's, nice breeze for the most part. We stayed in Ormond Beach, which is a few miles north of Daytona Beach. The hotel was on the A1A, right on the Ocean. Very nice.

Came back from Florida on the 23rd, but the trailer I was towing sheared 3 of the 5 lug studs off and destroyed the rim on the right side. This happened in South Carolina, and the shop sent a flatbed after me and the truck, so all was good.

And now, I'm back at the shop doing mundane work. Oh well, at least I have a job that pays well enough...
