Home time
Yes, I am home again. Have been since Tuesday. It is very good to be home. I don't mind being on the road, or traveling, but I do actually like to be home more than 1 week out of a month and a half. I don't mind the job for the most part, and the pay is pretty decent, but the lack of home time might be the kicker.
But atleast I got this week off, which just happened to include my wife and I's wedding anniversary. So that is a good thing.
Also, gotta love cars.
My wife got a '93 Dodge Dynasty from an auto auction in K-zoo, and 2 days after bringing it home, the LR bottom spring mount snapped off the axle. Soooo, it's back in the shop. Apart from that, it looks basically brand new.
I have a new car as well, the '92 Audi 100CS that is pictured in my last post. I will possibly take some more pics before I leave again. It runs and drives nice, and I finally have a car with a manual transmission again. It has tan leather seats that are quite comfy too.
I still have the Jetta, but it is actually up for sale, but with the number of little things that are wrong with it, they add up to a bit of work that I don't have time to fix, so I am hoping someone who will take care of it will buy it. And kind of hoping no one does because I like that car, and will have time sometime to fix it up right.
I realize that I haven't posted any pictures from my travels, but I will sometime. There are many to show though. I took some in Indy of our setup, a couple of the track, and a few in Watkins Glen, NY of some naturey stuffs.
Anyhow, I'm out. I know this isn't much of an update, but that's all I have for now.

Hotter than...
Well, you get the idea, it was hot. Since my last post, I have been in Bristol, TN and this week was Fontana, CA. Bristol was mildly hot, where Cali was just hot. Each day was reported to be over 100 degrees. Atleast I was in the air-conditioned sim trailer... where it was only 94. Yeah, the A/C couldn't keep up. A couple of the projectors also were affected by the heat and kept overheating and shutting off. While there I also had an L.A. adventure, I had to drive from San Bernardino to the Universal Citywalk mall to the NSMS shop there to get some parts. I had not driven in LA before, but finding my way wasn't too bad. I got to drive a nice Chrysler 300 Touring, which is a nice car.
Speaking of nice cars, I put the first of 3 payments down on a '92 Audi 100CS

So I have been away from home for 2 weeks again, and might get back in a week or 2, after the Richmond, VA race is Loudon, NH and I that may be when I go home. I just hope it won't be as hot...
That is all for now.
Take care.
Miss you Tracy :*
