Memories...

It's Memorial Day again, a time to remember those who have fallen in combat for this country, or on our behalf in defense of another. I must admit that during the course of the day, I lost track of time and did not partake in the 3PM moment of silence.

I hope everyones extended weekend went well, better than mine atleast. Well, mine hasn't been bad, just that outside of being way to hot for my liking, the heater core on my Jetta went out. This caused an impromptu lake of green on the floor of my car according to my wife, who happened to be the unlucky one driving. In order to fix the heater core, apparently you have to take apart the whole dash to get to it. Sounds like a total blast. I think tomorrow I will just bypass it, thus making it so my car will have no heat, but I intend to rememdy that totally by late fall. Driving in winter with no heat is no fun. Been there done that.

Well, the brain meter reads empty again, so I guess that means Im done here.
Take care all.

So I played CS:S the other night...

Yeah, so the other night I hopped online and played some Counter Strike: Source. I never play CS. But the other night I did. I had intended on jumping in the Midwest Gamers server, but, being a CS noob, I decided I would find a server that was (a emptier and (b generic. So I ended up playing against 1 other human and 4 bots. Damn if the bots aren't good at that game. But I did get my feet wet in CSS.

Also, you may notice I have re-enabled comments to give it another go. I am using the Blogger comment system. Chris sent me a link to a new comments system, but for some reason it looked a tad confusing. So, atleast for tonight, I passed on it.

Yesterday the wife and I went out to Grand Haven to wander and walk on the pier. It was a nice night, maybe a tad chilly for the shorts I was wearing, but that's ok.

However, I think it's off to bed.
Night y'all. Be good.

Hello everyone, I am now back from Darlington, South Carolina, and before that Augusta, Georgia. First stop was Ft Gordon in Augusta, where we relocated the 2 simulators from the IET Rec Center to the "Courtyard", which was the old Officers club. From there we went to Darlington to set up the 2 traveling simulators for Dodge at the track. Being at the track was neat, but setting up in the back parking lot, in a tent, was not quite so neat. Behind our simulators was the "Dodge thrill ride", where drivers from Skip Barber driving school tossed people around the impromptu test track in either a new Viper or a new Charger SRT8. Picture playing one of the drift tracks in Need for Speed Underground 2 to get the idea of what went on. So now everything in our tent was covered in tire dust from that.
Anyhow I am home now.
Also, I have turned off comments due to the fact I did not want more spam comments.

This is all I have for now, as my brain hurts.
