Going home!
Well, I just figured that since I have all this time I may as well update. I am at the Laguardia airport in NY waiting to go home, but for some reason the flight to Chicago was delayed from a 3PM departure to a 5PM departure. And I got here at about 2PM, so I have some time. I have already re-sized and uploaded my pictures from the NY Auto Show. They can be found here.
Click here for a short video of the simulators I set up both in NY and Chicago. It's about 8 Megs, just so ya know.
To sum up the trip, NYC was neat to see the first coiple of days, like when my co-workers and I walked Times Square, Boadway, and such. Of which I have no pictures. After that, it was just another city. The deli we frequented (as in everyday) for lunch made some good food. Working the auto show reminded me of just why I wanted to leave Checker Flag in the first place. Dealing with the general public in that setting for 12 or more hours per day got old quick.
As I have mentioned previously, the Westin was a nice hotel. I'm not sure about $269/night nice, or $14.95/day for internet nice, but nice anyway.
Behind me at the ticket counter I am hearinf my flight may be leaving at 4:10PM now, so I should go and make sure I am ready to board.
Take care y'all!

Live, from New York, it's...
Me!
So I should have used this headline for yesterdays first post from NY, but I didn't.
So I am wierd, didn't we all know this already?
So I did this little "meme" thing I saw over at Jocelyn and Logtar's sites. It goes as follows:
So here is mine!

Being me, I had to do it different, doing it both in cursive and printing. And aparently substituting a "the" for the "a" that is supposed to be there. Oh well, I'm wierd, remember.
I had today off as they didn't want the simulators running for press day or tonights Red Carpet Dealer Preview. So I got some needed sleeping in done, and not much else. Walked down a couple blocks and got some Subway, then later down to the corner drug store for some Sudafed for my sinus'.
Here's hoping that tomorrow wont be the Hell on Earth it could be, being the opening day of the autoshow.
I'm out for now, write more later, I hope :-P

So I did this little "meme" thing I saw over at Jocelyn and Logtar's sites. It goes as follows:
Go ahead and get a piece of paper, then write the sentence “The quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog.” Sign it with your first name or your handle (not your signature) and take a picture. Then post this and your picture on your blog! It is that simple… (Leave a comment here or a trackback once you have posted.) Link back, don’t be shy!

Time, squared
So it seems like I only update when I am on the road anymore. I do happen to be in New York City, a place I never thought I would be. But oh well, I am here. Though I wish I was not, as today was my wife's birthday, and I wanted to be home for that.
More work related talk though, we managed to set up the simulators in basically a day and a half, and had them working, which impressed us. To avoid taxi fares, we have been walking from the hotel ,the Westin on 43rd near Times Square, to the Javits Center, which is near 34th and 11th Ave. As much as I love to drive, I cannot imagine driving here, the traffic is insane! It's as if the color of the light makes little difference as to if people go through them or not. We have taken 2 walks now through Times Square, and neither time did I bring my camera as I thought we were just going to dinner. Next time...
Well, I think I am going to try to go to sleep now. Maybe it will work this time :/
Tracy, I love you very much and miss you greatly.
Till I wrtie again...
